This article scientifically and pedagogically analyzes the issue of developing national pedagogical values among senior school students based on the work “Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk” by the great thinker Mahmud Kashgari. The educational potential of the proverbs, wise sayings, moral instructions, and ethical views presented in the work is highlighted. Furthermore, the article reveals the methodological aspects of using “Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk”.in the process of teaching literature in secondary schools, as well as its role in shaping such values as national identity, patriotism, humanism, diligence, and spiritual purity in the minds of young people. The study employs pedagogical observation, comparative analysis, and textual analysis methods conducted within the framework of experimental research related to the dissertation topic.Downloads
