Abstract

This paper examines how the concept of “happiness” is expressed in the English language. It focuses on lexical, phraseological, and metaphorical means that reflect different aspects of happiness. The study also considers cultural influences and shows how happiness is linked to individual success and positive thinking. The analysis demonstrates that happiness is a complex concept with emotional, cognitive, and behavioral components, all of which are represented in language.
